Qatar GP: All you need to know
The very first Qatar Grand Prix in 2021 proved a great success, so much so that the promoters have now signed a contract to host the race until 2033!
It is held at the Losail International Circuit, a modern permanent facility on the outskirts of the capital, Doha. The track measures 5.38 kilometres, with a total of 16 corners, many of them fast and flowing. It’s a very quick lap and the best overtaking opportunity comes at Turn 1, approached at high speed at the end of the one kilometre-long main straight.
The race is run at night under an impressive floodlight system. The atmosphere is electrifying, making the Qatar F1 GP an unforgettable experience for drivers and spectators.
