The Imola Circuit hosts the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix.

The track, named in memory of Enzo and Dino Ferrari, is around 30 kilometres from Bologna, in Emilia-Romagna, not far from our factory. The Santerno track was opened in 1953 and every year from 1981 to 2006 it hosted the San Marino Grand Prix. Once, in 1980, it replaced Monza as the venue for the Italian Grand Prix.

Imola is known to be a very difficult and technical track, featuring many corners and complex braking areas that favour a well balanced car, while the driver has to look out for all sorts of traps, running at a tight pace. The track runs anti-clockwise and is 4.909 kilometres long, featuring no fewer than 20 corners. The Autodromo Enzo and Dino Ferrari’s lap record is held by Lewis Hamilton who, in November 2020 set a time of 1.15.484 in a Mercedes.
