“I felt good on track here in Miami, especially at the start of Qualifying before we lost some time as we couldn’t capitalize on the slipstream. I had a really good start in Race 1, and I slowly made my way up to P8 and was close to overtaking for P7. Unfortunately, by the time I was in the rhythm and in a position to overtake, the chequered flag was already out. Race 2 was fairly similar, and I was able to make my way up to P8 after recovering from an incident at the start. There are some key learnings to take into race prep for Barcelona, and we’re ready to see what the next round brings.”

“Overall, it was a good weekend here in Miami. Qualifying went really well for me, it was honestly a bit unexpected to be in the top three but really happy with the result and the ability to get the car in that position. Qualifying made the races much easier, and I started P3 in Race 1 and had some good battles on track and was able to finish in the top five. Same thing for Race 2 with starting P4, I had a good start, and we were able to maximize our opportunities to finish in P6 and bring home some good points. We collected what we could from this weekend in Miami, and we’re already looking forward to Barcelona.”

“Miami was a bit of a mixed weekend for me. We made some improvements from Jeddah heading into the practice session in Miami, but struggled in qualifying and I ended up in P14 and P15 to start the races. In Race 1 I was able to fight up the grid to P11, but in Race 2 I was unfortunately handed a time penalty after the chequered flag. No points for the weekend here in Miami, but Barcelona is a new opportunity and a track we have driven at previously in F1 Academy so I’m looking forward to returning to Spain.”
