The event transformed the iconic Central Michigan train station into the stage for the team’s latest chapter, blending motorsport, culture and innovation in a setting rooted in the city’s history.
Set within the striking architecture of the historic venue, the evening brought together Visa Cash App Racing Bulls, Ford Racing and Oracle Red Bull Racing to celebrate the launch of a partnership that has delivered the first-ever Red Bull Ford Powertrains power unit. The event highlighted shared values of performance, engineering excellence and pushing boundaries.
The event marked a strategic milestone for the team, signalling where it is heading, how it is building and what fans can expect from the season ahead.
The 2026 livery was unveiled in front of 1,500 guests in Detroit and watched by fans worldwide on YouTube and Red Bull TV. Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad were joined on stage by CEO Peter Bayer and Team Principal Alan Permane as the covers came off the car.
After proving a fan favourite last season, the team has retained its all-white look, refined for the year ahead. A subtle nod to the partnership with Ford is woven into the design, with sleek blue accents tracing the contours of the chassis. The result is a sharper, more streamlined finish that builds on a familiar identity while clearly moving it forward.
Alongside the car, the team also wore the new race suits for the 2026 season. Designed to align seamlessly with the updated livery, the suits strike a balance between performance and style, reflecting the team's modern and fearless attitude. Worn for the first time in Detroit, they completed the visual reset for the season and set the tone for what fans can expect to see on track.

Ahead of the launch, Gian spent time walking through Detroit to build a visual understanding of the city. His images explored the automotive identity that defines the area, featuring Ford vehicles across different eras alongside recognisable landmarks such as Ford Field and key locations across the city. This pre-launch walk added context, connecting Detroit’s history of engineering and reinvention with the values that underpin Formula One.
On launch day, Gian worked with Liam and Arvid on a pre-launch shoot focused on capturing the drivers in a calm, composed environment. Using his creative approach, he produced a short-form reel that aligns closely with the VCARB tone and visual language.
During the event itself, Gian remained embedded behind the scenes, documenting the rhythm of launch day. From final checks to quiet moments of focus, his imagery reveals the collaboration and precision that sit beneath the spectacle, giving fans a more intimate view of how the launch came together.
