Investing in youth has always been one of the main pillars of our team and Marco Perrone’s career is an outstanding example of that principle.

In 2008, Marco joined our team (Scuderia Toro Rosso at the time) straight from university having graduated in Mechanical Engineering. His first job was as an R&D Engineer, working on the design and carrying out calculations for various car components. He has been in Faenza ever since, developing his career over the years. In 2011, he became a Vehicle Dynamics Engineer, while also working trackside as a Test Data Engineer. Two years later, he joined the race team as a Strategy Engineer and then, when a specific race strategy department was established, he was promoted to Head of Strategy.

Today, Marco Perrone has taken on the role of Visa Cash App RB Head of Sporting Direction.
