The British Grand Prix is one of the races still known as the “Grandes Epreuves,” one of the old European races that holds its own, despite fierce competition from richer venues outside the Old Continent.
01Weekend Outlook
We’ve now completely reset
Isack Hadjar “After a frustrating end of the race in Austria last week, when we were about to score points, we’ve now completely reset and we’re ready to face the historical Silverstone circuit. It’s one of those traditional tracks, with a similar layout when it comes to maximizing the downforce and the efficiency of the car, which is something I think we’ve been doing really well so far. I expect another good performance from our car and the target is obviously to keep fighting for points.”
The atmosphere at Silverstone is incredible
Liam Lawson “Silverstone weekend brings an iconic track which we all grew up racing on in different categories. It's one of the most well-suited tracks to Formula One and I've been lucky enough to test an F1 car around it. To be racing for the first time here this weekend is very exciting and the atmosphere at Silverstone is incredible with the amount of fans that come out for the race. After living here for a few years, I'm looking forward to racing on a high speed, technical track off the back of a great weekend in Austria.”
