From the city's streets to its nightlife and seaside, we combine motorsport energy with local culture, creativity and wellness. In this guide, we explain what has happened this week in Melbourne and how each experience connects the world of Formula 1 with art, music and community.

To immerse ourselves in local street culture and celebrate Hemley’s 20th anniversary, Melbourne-based artist and skateboarder Glen Fox designed a limited run of custom hand-painted skateboards and T-shirts. He will also design our race poster for the week, staying true to his abstract style.
Our driver, Arvid Lindblad, joined Glen at the event, signing a number of skateboards that will be given away in an online competition next week.

We launched our first Garage Sessions of the season last night at downtown venue HER, featuring standout performances and a vibrant atmosphere that captured Melbourne’s dynamic music scene.

Following the success of last year’s edition, Garage Sessions continues to blend music and racing, as we give wiiings to rising music talent through our Creator Platform programme alongside established local headliners.
The night featured performances by Tigerlilly, Tobiahs, YNG Martyr, Kirklandd, Nina Las Vegas and Creator Platform winners Orange Hat, DJ Agna, and Rhys Rich. The lineup spanned genres with both DJ sets and live acts, creating an energetic environment that engaged motorsport fans and the broader community, all hosted by Milo Hartill.
To celebrate the start of the Formula 1 2026 season in Melbourne, we collaborated with global fitness brand Peloton to take race week beyond the track and into the streets of St. Kilda, delivering an action-packed morning and bringing fans and fitness lovers together.

Moving both body and mind, Peloton and VCARB transformed Riviera Beach Club into a one-day-only fitness paddock, blending performance, community and recovery. The event opened with a Formation Lap Yoga Flow session, led by Peloton Instructor, Kirra Michel, before participants hit the streets for a 5K run guided by Jon Hosking, Erik Jager and Australian Guest Instructor, Tim Robards.
With multiple pace groups, the run welcomed all levels of runners and wrapped in the Pare Ferme Recovery Lounge. Here guests were offered to experience the Peloton Bike+ and Tread from the brand's Cross Training Series, reset in a Hyperice-powered recovery zone and refuel with Red Bull and live music.
