Arvid Lindblad is Red Bull Academy’s latest and greatest talent, who is set to join the Formula One paddock for the first time in 2026. Lindblad debuted in the FIA Formula 2 Championship in 2025 with Campos Racing and is the 2024 Formula Regional Oceania Champion. Lindblad has been a Red Bull Junior driver since 2021, when he was signed at just 13 years old.
Lindblad is a British-Swedish driver who began karting at the age of five. By the age of seven, he was already competing for Championships. As Lindblad was quickly identified as a potential generational talent, he became the protégé of Oliver Rowland, 2025 Formula E World Champion at just nine years old. In 2020, aged 13, Lindblad won the WSK Super Master Series in the OKJ (age 12-14) class, going on to win the WSK Euro Series and WSK Final Cup in 2021, the same year he signed as a Red Bull Junior driver.

In his first full season of single-seater racing, Arvid won his first F4 UAE race on just his third attempt. In Italian F4, Lindblad started the year with untouchable dominance, with victories in Imola, Misano and Monza and finished the season third overall. Before moving up to Formula 3, Lindblad won the iconic F4 World Cup Race, held at one of the most challenging circuits in the world: Macau.

In September 2024, it was announced that Lindblad would step up to FIA Formula 2 in 2025 with Campos Racing. To prepare for the season, Lindblad competed in the Formula Regional Oceania Championship and won the title after earning six race victories. This granted him 18 points for his FIA Super Licence, of which 40 points are required to race in Formula One.
In Formula 2, Lindblad became the youngest-ever race winner in F2 history by winning the Jeddah Sprint at age 17. Lindblad won the feature race in Barcelona and the Sprint race in Abu Dhabi, as well as achieving five podiums, to finish 6th overall.

Arvid Lindblad first drove a Formula One car in 2024, driving Sebastian Vettel’s 2012 Championship-winning Red Bull RB8 at a showrun in Houston, Texas. At the beginning of 2025, he completed a private test in the 2023 AlphaTauri AT04 at Imola.
