While the world watches the clock tick down to lights out, the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls driver follows a finely tuned approach designed to sharpen his reflexes, hone his focus and ensure he is in peak condition when it matters most.
Unlike some drivers, Isack does not have a rigid pre-race routine. Instead, he keeps things flexible, focusing on two key habits that get him into the zone. Music is a constant presence, helping him clear his mind and lock in ahead of the race. And while he is not one for superstition, there is one thing he always does–he gets into the car from the same side, every single time.

Preparation starts long before race day, with simulator sessions replicating every detail of the circuit. Whether it is a technical street track or a high-speed power circuit, Isack commits every braking point, kerb and overtaking zone to memory. In the final hours before hitting the grid, he reviews telemetry data with his engineers, looking for any last-minute performance gains.
But racing is as much mental as it is physical. Isack balances intense concentration with moments of release–listening to music to clear his mind or engaging in light-hearted conversation with the team to keep the atmosphere relaxed. Then comes the physical prep: stretching exercises to ensure his body is primed for the extreme G-forces of an F1 car, reaction drills to fine-tune his reflexes and a warm-up routine to get his heart rate up before the adrenaline takes over.
Once suited up, helmet on, and strapped into the cockpit, all distractions fade. The radio crackles, the grid forms, and the anticipation builds. For Isack Hadjar, this is the moment everything comes together. Rookie season or not, he is here to race–and to prove he belongs at the pinnacle of motorsport.
