Just one week before his Formula One debut, our driver Arvid Lindblad lit up Red Bull Moto Jam in Delhi, bringing an F1 car back to Indian soil in front of thousands of passionate fans.
Held at the India Expo Centre in Noida, the second edition of Red Bull Moto Jam delivered exactly what it promised: noise, colour and pure motorsport energy. At the heart of it all was Arvid, driving the legendary RB8 in VCARB colours.

Arvid is only the third F1 driver with Indian heritage, so this event meant more than just a Red Bull Showrun. It was a return to a country that helped shape him growing up, and the atmosphere said it all.
From visiting India Gate ahead of the event to hearing the crowd erupt as the engine fired into life, the whole weekend felt personal. For many fans in attendance, it was their first time seeing a Formula One car in action.

The car Arvid drove was no ordinary machine. The RB8, which powered Sebastian Vettel to the 2012 World Championship, took on a fresh identity in full VCARB livery for the occasion.
To mark the timing of the event alongside Holi, India’s festival of colours, the car released coloured powder into the air during the run, filling the Delhi sky with a burst of celebration. It is a Red Bull Showrun tradition in India and one that never fails to deliver an unforgettable moment.
Ahead of Red Bull Moto Jam, former Formula One driver Karun Chandhok also took the VCARB liveried RB8 back to the Buddh International Circuit. It marked the first time in 13 years that an F1 car had run at the venue, reconnecting India with the sound and spectacle of Formula One.

Red Bull Moto Jam was not just about Formula One. The festival brought together multiple motorsport disciplines in one high-energy showcase.
Lebanese drifting champion Abdo Feghali thrilled the crowd with precision slides, while Aras Gibieza delivered a jaw-dropping stunt bike performance. Abdulrahman AlGhamdi pushed the limits of global stunt riding, and Roman Chirikov led the motocross charge. Freestyle motocross riders Sebastian Westberg and Vivian Ganther completed the lineup with gravity-defying tricks.
It was a celebration of speed in every form.
Speaking after the event, Arvid said:
“It was such a unique opportunity to be part of the Red Bull Moto Jam event and be able to drive an F1 car in India. Having the chance to be behind the wheel in this country, whose culture truly shaped me during my childhood, was really special. From kicking off the weekend by visiting the historical India Gate in Delhi to seeing all the fans cheering for me during the exhibition, it was such a nice moment. I hope they had a great time. A huge thank you to everyone involved; there couldn’t have been a better way to kick off my F1 season before going to Melbourne next week.”
With Melbourne up next, this was the perfect way to launch Arvid’s season and to reconnect Formula One with an audience that has been waiting a long time to hear that engine note live.
India, you were unforgettable.
